  • VENEER

Use a suitable veneer for the type of alloy used and follow the supplier’s instructions.

Heat the cylinder to 900C°.

Hold at this temperature for 15 to 30 minutes depending on size and allow to air cool.

  • MELTING AND CASTING

The CERINOX alloy is melted in a clean, unalterable crucible.

Melting can be done by induction or flame, the latter being set to neutral and non-carburizing.

Induction melting: start casting as soon as the blocks weaken.

Flame casting: heat the blocks with a circular flame and start casting as soon as the bath starts to vibrate under the flame.

Allow the cylinder to air cool to room temperature and remove the part.
