BCS Dental Alloys PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone) P70 is a machining, granular, implant grade dental polymer for use in fixed and removable prostheses. Available in capsule form, P70 is pink in colour.

This new thermostable semi-crystalline thermoplastic material for dental use is characterised by excellent mechanical properties including a modulus of elasticity comparable to that of natural cortical bone and meets the most stringent biocompatibility requirements:

  • cytotoxicity (ISO 10993-5)
  • irritation & sensitisation (ISO 10993-10)
  • acute subchronic toxicity (ISO 10993-11)
  • genotoxicity (ISO 10993-3).

Its high flexural strength and low coefficient of friction make PEEK the ideal material for dental prostheses.
